This Privacy Policy explains how ZABTEC Enterprise collects, uses, stores, and shares information when students, administrators, HEC reviewers, or other authorized users use the ZABTEC scholarship platform, website, mobile application, and related services.
Who we serve
The platform is intended for Pakistani students and for students studying in or applying through universities recognized or registered by the Higher Education Commission (HEC), Pakistan. Scholarships and related services are connected exclusively with HEC.
Information we collect
We collect information needed to register users, verify eligibility, process applications, and manage scholarship services. The specific data we collect includes:
- Personal details such as name, email, gender, and CNIC.
- Education details and academic records.
- Family details, including information about the father and mother.
- Financial information, such as household income.
- Documents, images, and other supporting documents uploaded by the user.
Why we collect this data
We use collected information to:
- Create and secure student, administrator, and HEC reviewer accounts.
- Verify student identity, CNIC details, educational background, and eligibility.
- Prepare, submit, review, approve, reject, or track scholarship applications.
- Review uploaded documents and detect incomplete, false, duplicate, or suspicious applications.
- Provide support, send service notices, and communicate important updates.
- Comply with legal, audit, fraud prevention, and institutional record requirements.
How we share information
We share collected data only with the Higher Education Commission (HEC), Pakistan. HEC is the strictly exclusive and only third-party organization we share information with. This data is shared specifically for the purposes of fraud checks and scholarship processing and administration.
We do not sell student personal information, nor do we share it with any other third parties, partner organizations, or external services.
Scholarship availability
Scholarships and services connected with HEC can be changed, delayed, paused, or cancelled at any time by the relevant authority. ZABTEC Enterprise does not guarantee that a scholarship will remain available, that an application will be selected, or that funds, approvals, or schedules will not change.
Data accuracy
Users are responsible for providing accurate, complete, and current information. Incorrect CNIC details, academic records, documents, income information, or contact details may delay review or result in rejection, suspension, or cancellation of an application or service.
Data retention and deletion
We keep information for as long as needed to provide services, manage applications, maintain scholarship records, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and support audit requirements.
Users may request the deletion of their personal data from our systems by emailing akbaruddin678@gmail.com. Please note that some records may be retained even after an account deletion request where necessary for HEC verification, compliance, or official record-keeping.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information. However, no online service, mobile application, server, or data transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Users should keep passwords confidential and immediately report unauthorized account activity.
User choices and requests
Users may request correction of inaccurate account or application information through the support or contact options provided in the platform. Some information cannot be changed after submission if it is needed for verification, audit, fraud prevention, or official scholarship records.
Children and guardians
Students who are below the age of legal consent should use the platform with the permission and guidance of a parent or legal guardian.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when services, scholarship programs, technology, legal requirements, or operational needs change. The updated policy will apply from the date it is posted.
